While his mother went through treatments for her hand, it took her a while to find a prosthetic that was both comfortable and functional. Jayce had watched her struggle through the pain of finding something that fit, that worked the way she needed it, and he's fairly certain that all that helps him be a little more attentive than most to Viktor's needs.
