This closeness that he craves so badly finally being at least in part satisfied. Though he does suspect he might not feel fully close enough to Viktor without somehow fitting himself inside his chest cavity.

[Viktor went quiet for a moment after that, tension in his body slowly starting to leave it as he relaxed little by little. Nothing was really any better, but...it was easier to carry right now, if nothing else.]

[Too tired to be argued with or really think about the potential consequences, Viktor muttered that in what sounded like defeated exasperation.]

Well since you asked nicely. [Jayce rolls his eyes a little, but rearranges blankets in order to be able to lie down in Viktor's nest with him, wrapping around him again.]

[Curling against him with less hesitation now, the corner of Viktor's mouth twitched into a nearly imperceptible smile.]

[Jayce's chin rests against the top of Viktor's head, arms protectively around him. The fingertips of one hand trace circles and swirls over his back, soothingly.] It's true, I am pretty verbose. Actions speak louder than words, hm?

Mm. [Hummed contentedly against Jayce's shoulder, thin arms curling around his waist.]

Yeah? [He cradles Viktor like he's precious. Not quite like he's fragile, but like he might melt away if Jayce doesn't hold him as close and as tight as he can]

[Viktor answered in little more than a soft sound in the affirmative, pressing a little closer with a slow release of tension through his back and shoulders.]

I don't know about too kind. I don't think it's possible to be too kind. But I'm happy to be kind to you. I care about you, Viktor. Of course I'd be kind.
