I do not like or dislike it--there is little point in concerning oneself over a simple objective fact.

[He liked it quite a lot in the right contexts. There was a lot to be said for either giving or taking control in such situations; knowing a thin and powerless form could still have the man before him utterly in shambles in a matter of minutes. Knowing that fragile body would be treated like an object of reverence in turn.]

[Janna's fucking mercy.]

[Viktor's free hand dropped to the edge of the desk behind him, white-knuckled grip betraying his best attempt at a poker face. Do not fold or you'll never live it down.]

I think you do. [He can't hide the way his own voice shakes and cracks, the way he shifts into Viktor's pace. Craving it after having been denied it for what feels like lifetimes, at this point. He knows there's a beauty mark just above Viktor's collarbone that, if Jayce placed his mouth there, would absolutely make Viktor fall apart.

But that would be folding first, wouldn't it?] I think you like that if I wanted to, right now, I could lift you onto your desk, spread you out, and worship you the way you deserve to be worshiped.

[Gods, he was playing dirty in every sense of the word.]

And I think you are going against the terms of our agreement, Jayce. I seem to recall we agreed unneccessary touch was cheating.

[But two could play that game. And what wasn't technically 'touch' was the way Viktor hooked the handle of his cane over the back of Jayce's neck, tugging him down to eye level with a sharp and sudden movement. Daring him to do anything more than that, staring him down with a stubborn authority.]

I was getting your attention. It was necessary when it --

[But then both his words and his higher brain functions are cut short as Viktor uses his fucking cane like that to tug him down and he can hear the leather of Viktor's back brace creak under his grip with the way it tightens.]

When it -- started. You, you. You -- [Get it back together, Jayce, gods.] You cheated first. This three day strip tease you've been working on?

It's summer. You can not prove I am changing anything for any reason other than simple discomfort.

[Confident the situation was back under his control, the smirk that tugged at Viktor's mouth was nothing short of devious.]

Besides, I do not see how it matters. The only thing I ever needed to do was speak and you would collapse like a faulty prototype.

[Admittedly, the reverse was also very likely true.]

Is that wrong, my brilliant partner?

[He's truly fighting for his life here, between the pressure of the cane against the back of his neck and that stupid smirk on Viktor's face and the warmth of his body under Jayce's hands.

And then Viktor calls him partner. Not just partner but his partner, and Jayce makes an undignified noise in the back of his throat that he will deny to his dying day.]

I made it longer than you said I would. [It's a desperate, flailing attempt. Grasping at straws, but by Janna he's trying.]

You did. [Unfortunately, in saying as much Jayce had lined himself up for the killshot. In a low voice with their faces mere inches apart, Viktor set himself to proving his point:]

I'm impressed. You have done very well, lásko. Any longer, and I might have given up--but I think we both know you want me screaming your name far more than you want to win this little wager, no?

I hate you. [He absolutely does not. The furthest from it, but Viktor using that sweet little pet name on him has him stepping closer, one leg between Viktor's. Sharing his breath and letting that low voice wash over him.

But he does have one last idea. And if this fails, he'll concede.

He doesn't kiss Viktor. Instead, he rests their foreheads together, his breath coming in short, sharp pants against Viktor's mouth.]

You are a worse liar than I am--

[And then he froze under a gesture that was both unexpected and honest-to-Janna sacred, as meaningful as a kiss and also a thousand things more. The cane clattered against the floor as Viktor's trembling hands fell to Jayce's arms in a hesitant, careful touch; his own breath shaky and uncertain as he struggled to decide on a reaction like some universal reset button had just been pressed.]

A-ah...Jayce, you...

Hey. [His voice drops into something low and undoubtedly tender. Not sultry like Viktor had been but softer. Sweeter, almost. He smiles and his grip on Viktor's waist relaxes a little. More supportive than grasping, now.]

...gods, it took you long enough.

[Concluding (after a brief reboot) that Jayce had in fact kissed him first, those unsteady hands wrapped around his collar and pulled, into a kiss like Viktor had just found water after a week in the desert.]

[In his mind, Viktor was the one to kiss first. No question about it. The second those trembling hands pulled him in, Jayce felt like he'd won. The neediness behind that kiss matches Jayce's own, and his hand slides down the back of Viktor's braced leg, gripping the thigh and carefully hiking it over his hip to try and pull him closer.]

[They would, in fact, be arguing about this for weeks. Not that it mattered right now, and in fact very little mattered to Viktor at the present moment. His arms--fortunately a good deal stronger than the rest of him--moved around Jayce's shoulders for support as he pulled himself up, hooking both legs around his partner's waist with a soft moan into his mouth.]

[Jayce makes a small noise of surprise at both legs now being around his waist, but he's quick to grip Viktor's thighs and rest him against the edge of the desk for at least some extra support because the way Viktor is hauling him around makes him feel more than a little weak in the knees.]

I really thought I could make it a week. [He laughs softly, nosing at Viktor's cheek playfully, down to nip at his jaw.] But then I saw the hollow of your throat and remembered what it tasted like and it all fell apart.

You held out longer than I expected. [Humming softly in contentment, Viktor tilted his head back and slid a hand into Jayce's hair.] I honestly thought losing the tie would make you give up sooner.

Gods, I do love your neck. [Every exposed freckle and beauty mark is granted a warm kiss as Jayce works his way down to the hollow of his throat to dip his tongue into that crease, licking at the saltsweet taste of him with a sigh like he's been holding his breath these past four days.]

But I was determined. And then I saw your wrists today, fuck.

Mmn...you're so good to me. [A small shudder at the attention to his neck, Viktor's other hand trailing from arm to shoulders in feather-light touches of delicate fingertips.]

Of course...we can not very well back down after setting our minds to something, yes?

I love being good to you. I'd worship your body constantly, if I could. [Which might be an exaggeration from someone else, but not only is it Jayce, it's about Viktor, which means it is emphatically true.]

I could be good to you right now. I could lock the door, get on my knees, and be very good to you, if you wanted.

Is that what you want, Jayce? Piltover's favorite son brought to his knees for me, praised with every breath in all the ways you deserve?

[His nails scratched lightly as the hand in Jayce's hair tightened, pulling him into a sharp, demanding kiss with the edge of a bite to it.]

What are you waiting for?

[He's about to mention how much he loves it when Viktor uses his nails like that, but then Viktor says that and it's a miracle Jayce's knees don't buckle then and there.

One hand shoots out to brace against the table next to Viktor to try and steady himself, and he whines pathetically into Viktor's mouth.]

Fu-uhck Viktor, you can't just say that.

I told you, did I not? I would not have even needed to touch you in order to make you give up.

[Viktor pulled back by inches, mischievous smirk on his face as he let his hands fall away.]

Now, put me down and make sure the door is locked.

If you keep ordering me around like that, I might forget to lock the door. [But he does dutifully set Viktor down on the desk, stealing one more needy kiss before he forces himself to move back and make sure the door is locked.

While he has the chance to, he leans against the door a little to catch his breath. Watching Viktor from across the room for a moment.] Janna's mercy, look at you. Do you have any idea how badly I want to cover your neck in bruises all the time? It's so hard to keep it below the collar.

You would like that, wouldn't you? [Tilting his head slightly, watching Jayce with the kind of look that always meant trouble.] Marked like all of your notes, so there would be no doubt of whose work was on display?

[Viktor rolled his eyes like he wouldn't have loved that on some level.]

Typical. The average Piltovan ego defies measurement.

Less marked and more I can't keep my hands and mouth off you, and there's a freckle just below your jaw that's begging to be bitten. [He pushes off the door, forcing himself to take slow steps so he's not immediately back at Viktor's side like he so longs to be.]

What would be even better though, is having your marks on me, instead. So it's clear to everyone just who I belong to.

Well, I would be lying if I said that was not an appealing thought.

[Viktor held out a thin hand, both silently asking for Jayce's own and also beckoning him closer.]

This whole city adores you, Jayce. You could have anything and anyone you wanted. It is terribly annoying they can not know you chose me instead.
